Root Canal Treatment (Endodontic treatment)
Endodontics is a branch of dentistry that deals with treating infected root canals. An infected root canal is most often caused by extensive dental caries which has progressed and infected the pulp of the tooth. In such cases, endodontic treatment, „a root canal“ is necessary. The procedure is performed with local anesthesia and is completely painless for the patient.
In addition to classical methods of endodontic treatment, we offer mechanical endodontic treatment (ProTaper) which is considerably faster, more efficient and more precise. In cases of old and inadequate root canal therapy, retreatment is necessary. Mechanical endodontics allows for faster and successful retreatment of old and inadequate root canal therapy, allowing patients a shorter and more comfortable visit to the dentist’s office.
Pulpitis therapy
Pulpitis therapy is an endodontic treatment that consists of removing the pulp from the root canal of a tooth or several of them, depending on which tooth is involved, and mechanical cleaning and rinsing of the infected canal. The procedure is extremely demanding and can be long-lasting, especially due to the anatomy of multiple-rooted teeth, if you didn’t know that there is no tooth in the world that is identical in its structure. A canal filling agent is placed in the clean and disinfected canals, which must be well sealed, and a final filling follows. The Ksaver Dental Clinic performs this complicated and demanding procedure exclusively with a rubber dam, which allows the doctor to work sterilely on the tooth and the patient to be protected in the oral cavity.
The procedure is performed under anesthesia and is completely painless for the patient, not only does it relieve pain but also stops the infection by removing dying tissue from the tooth pulp and helps save a tooth that is in danger of being lost.
We use the most modern mechanical endodontics with the help of an endometer instrument, which also allows the patient to visualize the depth of canal cleaning. The technique we use is ProTAPER machine endodontics, which enables faster and better cleaning of dental canals, their rinsing and filling. The procedures are done painlessly with rubber dam and endometrium.
