Healozone

Many people suffer from caries from an early age. Caries is the most common and widespread disease, associated with dietary habits in modern industrialized countries of the civilized world. Caries treatment is limited to materials necessary to replace existing carious damage.

The dentist removes the hard tooth tissue damaged by caries and replaces the resulting deficiency (defect) with filling material or, in the case of extensive defects, replaces them with a dental crown. During the therapeutic treatment, the dentist also removes a significant part of the healthy tooth tissue, which is thus irreversibly lost. These methods of therapy generally involve pain.

Instead of the usual method of caries treatment, a new technology, Healozone, has been developed. This method uses ozone, the most powerful oxidizing agent that destroys 99 percent of carious bacteria.

This procedure allows for the treatment of caries without the need for fillings, and the tooth structure is completely preserved!

Another main feature of this caries treatment procedure is that the tooth surface becomes more resistant to the recurrence of caries.

• no postoperative symptoms.

Aesthetic fillings

Modern dentistry is based on minimally invasive methods. New generations of filling materials allow for minimal removal of tooth structure. The materials chemically bond to the tooth. In addition to excellent aesthetics, newer materials also have protective properties. They release fluoride, which promotes remineralization, and contain chlorhexidine, which has an antibacterial effect.

Endodontic treatment

Endodontic treatment consists of removing infected dental pulp, disinfecting, and sealing the root canals. Machine endodontics allows for faster and better treatment than conventional methods. Depending on the diagnosis, the entire endodontic treatment can be performed in just one visit! Machine endodontics is effective for both more demanding treatments and revision of old fillings.

TREATMENT OF GINGIVITIS AND PERIODONTITIS

Professional cleaning

Gum disease is the most common disease in humans and if left untreated can lead to more serious conditions such as periodontitis, tooth mobility or eventual tooth loss. Regular hygiene is very important in keeping gums healthy throughout life.

We use Air-flow which gently removes dental plaque without any damage to the teeth and gums, and Perioflow which successfully cleans subgingival plaque. After cleaning, a complete gum care is carried out with chlorhexidine-based preparations. Chlorhexidine has a long-lasting antibacterial effect and prevents the formation of dental plaque. Professional cleaning with a check-up twice a year is recommended!

Photodynamic therapy

Photodynamic therapy is a successful method of treating periodontal diseases caused by pathogenic bacteria. Photodynamic therapy has been proven to be more effective than antibiotic therapy and other mechanical treatment methods, and is less invasive and heals the tissue faster.

It works by introducing a photosensitive liquid into the periodontal space, activating it with light of a certain wavelength, thus destroying bacteria and bacteria-infected cells.
